The Wisconsin Department of Justice, Office of School Safety, was created in March of 2018. Since that time, it has awarded $100,000,000 in school safety grants, delivered training to thousands of educators and developed statewide initiative to address school safety issues. Anyone interested in school safety should attend this presentation to hear Director Kristen Devitt speak about nationally recognized best-practices in school safety and learn what Wisconsin is doing to build the safest schools in the nation. Free and open to the public.
