Lions vision screening

The Cambridge Lions Club performed its annual vision screening at Cambridge Elementary School Oct. 15-16. In addition to standard vision testing, the Cambridge Lions club has access to special technology which measures vision for younger kindergarten children who are unable to read letters for a standard vision test. This service allows for early intervention for families who may not realize their child needs further vision testing. One of the Lions Club’s missions is to prevent avoidable blindness and to improve the quality of life for people who are visually impaired.
