The DeForest girls lacrosse team closed out the regular season on May 21 with a 14-9 loss to Madison West.

The loss dropped the Norskies to 5-4 in league play and 8-5 overall.

The Lady Norskies were led by Alivia Uebersetzig, who had three goals, two ground balls and two draw controls. The effort helped her go over the 100-goal mark for her career.

Elizabeth Barske helped keep DeForest in the game with two goals and six draw controls, while Brooke Buhr had two goals and two assists.

Mesa Meyer and Mackenzie Wiegel both scored a goal. Meyer also had an interception.

DeForest’s Natalie Skaife contributed two draw controls, while Kelsey Wianecki had two ground balls.

Alivia Schodin and Kaylin Nesbitt both had an interception.

Norski goalie Opal Lawrence registered eight saves.
