Wisconsin Invitational

After a somewhat tough regular season, the DeForest boys lacrosse team turned it up a notch in the postseason. The Norskies put together a fabulous run in the Wisconsin Invitational.

DeForest earned a spot in the last Saturday’s championship game. The Norskies finished second after falling 9-6 to Janesville at Carroll University.

The Norskies opened the tournament with a 16-3 victory over visiting Brookfield on May 30.

DeForest held on to beat visiting Wauwatosa 13-8 on June 3.

In the semifinals on June 4, the Norskies slipped past visiting Edgewood 7-6.

No information was available on any of the games.

Janesville defeated West Bend 10-6 to earn a spot in the championship game.

In the Boys Championship Tournament, Kettle Moraine earned the state title with an 18-6 victory over Middleton.


The DeForest girls also played in the Wisconsin Invitational. The Norskies fell a win short of the championship game.

The Lady Norskies had their season come to an end with a 13-9 loss to Madison Westside in the semifinals on June 5.

No information was available on the game.

DeForest defeated visiting Eastside and Appleton to earn a spot in the semifinals.

Oregon earned the Invite title after downing Westside 14-9 last Saturday.

In the Girls Championship Tournament, Arrowhead took care of University School 11-8 to earn the state crown.
