Local trick-or-treaters donned their costumes a day early and headed to DeForest Area High School for the National Honor Society’s annual Trick or Treat Community Night on Oct. 30. Hundreds of kiddos and families came out for the event. Attendees traveled around the high school collecting treats from local organizations and clubs. At the DeForest Area Public Library’s stop, trick-or-treaters got to choose a book to take home. There were also interactive activities for kids, including a chance to play with slime and a mini petting zoo in the FFA wing of the school.
