FCCLA partners with police

FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America) students at DeForest Area High School worked with the DeForest Police Department a few weeks ago to provide the police department with some handmade tie blankets for children who have experienced trauma and have been taken out of potentially dangerous situations. Children who have experienced trauma can find comfort in the blankets donated by FCCLA. “FCCLA is proud to partner with the DeForest Police Department to assist in providing comfort to local children,” said FCCLA advisor Bethany Buenning.
