Fly Away

600 painted lady butterflies, in the hands of students and staff, were released at Windsor Elementary School on Friday, June 7, as a culmination of their year-long Spectaculous Metamorphosis project where students learned about metamorphosis through a full arts-integrated approach. Said principal Roy Bernards, “Like a butterfly, our students go through a complete metamorphosis over the years they are with us. Today we celebrate all who have helped our students along their journey.” Funding for the event was provided by the Windsor Parent Teacher Organization.
