The three finalists of the DeForest Area School District’s Geography Bee were: third-place finisher Ruby Muniz, seventh grade; second-place Miles Kuluvar, seventh grade; and first-place Brett Harsh, sixth grade. Harsh will take a computer test from the National Geography Bee to determine if he qualifies to advance to the state Geography Bee on March 27. Sixth-grade math and social studies teacher Tammy Breitlow facilitates the Geography Bee for the district.
