WE Run raises funds

The total money raised from the recent WE Run at Windsor Elementary School has been tallied. The total gross was $52,016.86 and net was $48,086.44. That’s around an $8,000 increase from last year. The prize assembly was last Friday, Nov. 8, and the students who raised $200 or more got to ‘color’ the staff that ran in our own mini color run. The WE Run is the only fundraiser for Windsor Elementary School and funds are used to purchase books for every student for the summer to help prevent the ‘summer slide’, enhance technology in the classrooms, alleviate costs of field trips, assist teachers with classroom needs, and many other things.
