I want to publicly thank the Windsor Town Board for representing our community so sensitively, thoroughly and openly.

In past years, with President Bob Wipperfurth’s leadership, I have attended the meeting I was concerned with in response to the purchasing of property adjacent to Linsey Field to insure continued growth for our community athletic youth programs. I also was among those concerned and expressing outcry against the proposed gravel pit on Hwy. C.

Each time I watch the town board painstakingly discuss and review the subject. They arrive prepared, knowledgeable and willing to listen for as long as it took, and then promptly acted on their decision.

With the village proposal, they prepared and presented their plan. With hundreds of hours of research, planning and presenting so our community could step forward with confidence to vote in favor of the recommendation led by our board members.

Then with the lawsuit from Bristol, instead of the long quagmire of arguing, Wipperfurth settled the matter quickly and in an non-confrontational manner. Thank you for your strong leadership and for all the work, time and energy the board has given to bring our community forward while protecting and preserving our integrity.
