Three Lakeside Lutheran volleyball players and one member of the Lake Mills team received Division 2 all-state recognition by the Wisconsin Volleyball Coaches Association.

Lakeside senior outside hitter Ella Collins was one of five unanimous first team selections. Collins led the Capitol North with 419 kills, an average of 3.74 per set.

Junior outside hitter Payton Kuepers was named to the second team for the Warriors. Kuepers had 357 kills and a hitting percentage of .321.

Fort Atkinson senior Rylie Steffes was named honorable mention all-WVCA honorable mention. Steffes was second on the team with 314 kills. She had a season-high 26 kills in a five-set victory over Monroe.

Lakeside senior setter Karli Johnson was an honorable mention recipient, posting 842 assists and serving 91 aces. Lake Mills’ Sydney Lewellin, a sophomore setter, was on the honorable mention team. Lewellin totaled 810 assists, an average of 9.4 per set.

Whitewater junior Emme Bullis also was named honorable mention despite dealing with injuries throughout the season.
