Samantha Lynn Grossman of Lake Mills, was named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2018 semester at Tallahassee Community College (TCC) in Tallahassee, Florida majoring in Environmental Science. The Dean’s List is an academic honor awarded to students who achieved a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher on a 4.0 scale, she is now eligible to join TCC Honors program.
University of Wisconsin Whitewater
The following students were named to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Dean’s List for the 2018 fall semester. These students have demonstrated their academic abilities by receiving a grade point average of 3.4 or above in a single semester.
University of Minnesota -Duluth
The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) has announced its Dean’s List for Fall Semester 2018. Students on the Dean’s List have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Hayden J. Iverson, FR, was named to the dean’s list for Labovitz School of Business & Economics, Accounting.
University of Wisconsin Stevens Point
The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point honored more than 2,275 undergraduate students for attaining high grade point averages during the fall semester of the 2018-2019 academic year. Students who received honors from Lake Mills include: Lindsey Massen, Sophomore, highest honors, Lydia Ulrich, Senior, high honors.
Carthage College has named Felicity Daniels of Lake Mills to its dean’s list for academic excellence during the fall 2018 semester. Dean’s List honors are accorded to Carthage students who achieve a minimum 3.5 grade-point average while carrying at least 14 credit hours during a semester.
Rex Schultz, class of 2019 at Ripon College, from Lake Mills, studying Psychobiology , has been named to the fall 2018 Dean’s List. Schultz is the child of Joshua and Angela Schultz from Lake Mills. To qualify for the Dean’s List at Ripon College, students must achieve a 3.40 grade point average or higher on a 4.00 scale and complete at least 12 credits of regular letter-graded work.
Ann Schroeder of Lake Mills was named to the fall 2018 Dean’s List at Lakeland University. Lakeland University is a liberal arts college with its main campus located in Plymouth and is affiliated with the United Church of Christ and offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees.
Area students were named to Wisconsin Lutheran College’s Dean’s List for the fall 2018 semester. To be eligible for Dean’s List, a student must carry a semester GPA of 3.6 or higher. Emma Guld, a sophomore at Wisconsin Lutheran College. Guld is a graduate of Lakeside Lutheran High School. James Neuberger, a freshman at Wisconsin Lutheran College. Neuberger is a graduate of Lakeside Lutheran High School and Grace Tomhave, a sophomore at Wisconsin Lutheran College. Tomhave is a graduate of Luther Preparatory School.
Wisconsin -La Crosse
The following area students have been named to the Dean’s List at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse for the fall semester of the 2018-19 academic year, ending December 2018. Michigan Technological University
Michigan Technological University, in Houghton, Mich., has released the Dean’s List for the 2018 fall semester. More than 1,800 students were named to the Dean’s List last fall. To be included, students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Among the honorees from the Lake Mills area is Chase A. Scheel, Mechanical Engineering.
Mikaela Hanrahan, Luther College sophomore of Lake Mills, has been named to the 2018 fall semester Dean’s List. Luther College’s fall 2018 Dean’s List includes 739 students; 169 first-years, 137 sophomores, 162 juniors and 272 seniors. To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale and must complete at least 12 credit hours with 10 hours of conventional grades (A, B, C, D).

Students who earn a 4.0 grade point average, which represents all “A” grades, receive highest honors. High honors go to students earning 3.99 to 3.75 grade point averages. Honors are given to students earning 3.74 to 3.50 grade point averages. Students are listed by the county claimed as place of permanent residence. All were full-time students in the fall term, earning 12 or more credits of graded coursework. From Lake Mills was Benjamin Bruening, Industrial Engineering. The College of Business, Industry, Life Science and Agriculture and the College of Liberal Arts and Education require grade-point averages of 3.75 and above for Dean’s List honors, while the College of Engineering, Mathematics and Science requires students to reach at least a 3.50.
