Ladies Club to meet March 28

The Tyranena Ladies Club will meet Thursday, March 28 at 7 p.m. at City Hall. The speaker will be Marilyn DeBoom from Reaching Out Respite. Assembling of 47 Easter baskets for Brook Gardens and Lilac Springs will also take place. Any questions refer to the Tyranena Ladies Club Facebook page. Everyone is welcome.

2019 Spring Splash fundraiser kickoff

Jefferson County GOP to meet

Assembly District 38 Representative Barb Dittrich will be guest speaker at the next Jefferson County GOP Pints and Politics. The event will be March 28, 6:30 p.m. at Hi-Way Harry’s, Johnson Creek. Rock Lake Troopers 4-H to meet

The Rock Lake Troopers 4-H Club will hold their next meeting on Monday, April 1, at 6:30p.m., at the Lake Mills Legion Hall. Club members are reminded to bring their completed Real Seal Dairy Promotion Contest forms to the meeting.

City Band rehearsals begin April 1

The Lake Mills City Band will begin rehearsals for their summer concert season beginning Monday, April 1 in the high school band room at 7:15 p.m. If you play an instrument you are invited and encouraged to come. Flashlight Egg Hunt to be held April 5

Get set, grab a flashlight and go to The Lake Mills Recreation Department’s third annual flashlight egg hunt. There will be over 1,000 eggs and other prizes. This event is for both middle and high school students grades 5-12 and will be held at the Lake Mills High School football practice field. Eggs will be scattered throughout the field. The egg hunt will start at 8 p.m. All kids who pre-register will be entered into a drawing for door prizes and the grand prize. Online registration deadline is April 4. Poetry Night at L.D. Fargo Library

The Friends of the Library invite everyone to join them for a casual evening of poetry April 9 6:30-8 p.m. in the library hall. Each individual who brings a poem to share will be asked to read the poem. This event is open to all ages whether reading or listening.

School to hold developmental screening

The Lake Mills Area School District invites families with children ages 2 years, 9 months to 5 years, 0 months to a free Developmental Screening on April 12, from 8-9 am. Developmental Screenings provide a free developmental check, including vision and hearing. Contact Andrea Phillipson at 920-648-2474 to make an appointment. Deadline for appointments will be Friday, April 5.
