Five students sign

Five Lake Mills High School students signed their letters of intent to play college sports Wednesday, Feb. 5. The students from left are Mia Schroeder, track at UW-Plattville; Sophia Lee, volleyball at UW-Stevens Point; Grace Schopf, volleyball at Carroll University; Hunter Buechel, football at Michigan Tech and Jena Smith, tennis at Wisconsin Lutheran College. “They all wanted to sign together and it just shows their team first attitude in everything they did,” said Steve Considine, athletic director. “Their teams and individually they accomplished a lot. There are conference champions up here, All-State players, players of the year in conference and state qualifiers. The accomplishments are unreal. We are really excited to see all five of these student athletes go on.”
