The Lodi girls soccer team had an up-and-down week with two wins, a tie and a loss.

The Blue Devils opened the week with a 3-0 non-conference victory over visiting Monroe on May 13.

The only loss of the week came on May 14. Visiting DeForest blanked the Blue Devils 3-0.

In their lone Capitol Conference game of the week, the Lady Blue Devils tied host Wisconsin Heights 3-3 on May 16.

Lodi closed the week with a 3-0 non-conference victory over visiting Baraboo.

The Blue Devils are now 7-5-4 overall and 2-2-2 in the Capitol Conference.

Lodi will close out the regular season at home tonight. The Blue Devils will host McFarland at 6:45 p.m.

The Lady Blue Devils are the eighth seed in their WIAA Division 3 regional and will host ninth-seeded Edgerton at 7 p.m. on May 30.

Lodi scored twice in the first half to take control early.

Grasyn Schmidt scored five minutes into the game off an assist by Thea Collins.

Schmidt scored again with two minutes remaining in the first half. Kendra Tippery had the assist.

Tippery and Schmidt flipped roles seven minutes into the second half. Tippery scored off an assist by Schmidt.

Lodi goalie Rylee Schmidt had one save in the shutout.

DeForest 3

DeForest scored twice in the second half to take care of the Blue Devils.

DeForest’s Mandy Fitzgerald scored the only goal of the first half at the 33-mintue mark.

Maya Pickhardt scored an unassisted goal at the 68-minute mark to open the scoring in the second half.

Pickhardt scored again three minutes later off an assist by Jessica Camarato.

Rylee Schmidt finished with eight saves.

Grace Maerz scored the first Blue Devil goal 23 minutes into play.

Mackenzie Fulkerson scored nine minutes later off an assist by Alana Gilles.

Tippery closed out the scoring a minute later. Grasyn Schmidt had the assist.

Rylee Schmidt garnered three saves to preserve the shutout.
