The Lodi Public Library has two single-event programs:

Thursday, June 13, 11:00 a.m. to noon at the Lodi Public Library. All ages.

Giant Steps: 2019 is the 50th anniversary of the Apollo II lunar landing. John Heasley, astronomy educator with Driftless Stargazing LLC, will discuss the story and discoveries of humans’ first journey to the moon.

3:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 23 at Habermann Park (180 Fair St. Lodi, WI)

David Landau! In Concert: Enjoy family-friendly music and storytelling in the park!

Weekly Programs

The library has weekly programs designed for kids and teens. These programs will run from Tuesday, June 11 through Thursday, August 8.

Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m.

Game Day: Play board games, card games, shoot on the basketball hoop, toss rings, play tabletop shuffleboard and curling, and much more! For students entering Kindergarten—5th grade.

Tuesdays at 2:30 p.m.

Game Day for Teens: Play board games and card games and socialize with other teens. For students entering 6th-12th grade.

Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.

Music and Story Time with Mr. Alex: Listen to stories, sing songs, and get your body moving! All ages welcome.

Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.

Build & Balance: Develop your physical and creative skills with various building and balance materials. For ages 0-7.

Wednesday at 1:00 p.m.

Construction Zone: Use your imagination to construct your greatest creation, using Magna-Tiles, Marble Genius, Brain Flakes, KEVA Contraptions, and much more! All ages welcome.

Thursday at 1:00 p.m.

Writer’s Workshop: Do you have a story you’ve been wanting to tell? This six-week program will allow you to publish that tale! Create characters, send them on an adventure, and illustrate your story’s world with help from other young authors and library staff.

The first 20 authors to register will receive a free bookmaking kit and a published version of their book. A reception will be held to celebrate our local authors.

Registration for this event is full. Drop-in attendees are welcome.

Thursday at 2:30 p.m.

Movie Matinee: We will show a new family-friendly movie each week. If you’d like a handout of the movie schedule, please stop by the library.
