After an unblemished start to the season, the Lodi girls soccer team dropped back-to-back games for the first time this season last week.

On April 22, the Blue Devils dropped a 5-1 non-conference decision to host Sauk Prairie.

Then in Capitol Conference play on April 25, the Lady Blue Devils fell 3-2 to visiting Luther Prep.

Lodi fell to 3-2-1 overall and 2-1 in the Capitol Conference.

The Blue Devils will be at home tonight. They will host Platteville at 6:45 p.m.

Lodi will play at Sugar River at 6:45 p.m. on May 7.

Sauk Prairie scored the first five goals of the game to earn the win.

The Eagles got going with a goal by Faith Holler two minutes into the contest. Then they got three straight goals by Katelyn Fishnick over the next 10 minutes.

Sauk Prairie closed out its scoring with a goal by Macy Breunig at the 35:07 mark.

Lodi finally got on the scoreboard with seven minutes remaining in the first half. Alayna Rosga scored an unassisted goal.

Lodi goalie Rylee Schmidt finished with six saves.

The Lady Blue Devils were not able to hold onto a one-goal halftime lead in the loss to Luther Prep.

Lodi had a hot start to the game. The Blue Devils got a pair of goals from Rosga in the first 18 minutes of play. Grace Maerz assisted on the first goal, while Alana Gilles had the assist on the second.

Before the first half came to an end, Luther Prep got a goal from Megan Fluegge.

The Phoenix earned the win after getting pair of goals from Hannah Schroeder in the second half. She scored the winning goal with 10 minutes remaining.

Schmidt registered four saves.
