Transfer site is hot topic

More than 50 citizens gathered at the Lodi Town Hall to voice concerns over unsafe roads, the transfer site and ordinance enforcement.

The town of Lodi held its annual town hall meeting on Tuesday, April 21 to swear in new board members and hear citizens input on how they would like the town to act. All of the motions passed are advisory and will be taken up at the next board meeting.

Rio man pleads not guilty to homicide

A Rio man has plead not guilty to charges that he killed his girlfriend in 2013.

After a 17-month investigation into the 2013 death of Traci Rataczak, 44, her boyfriend, Patrick A. Kraemer, 47, Rio, was arrested last September for first-degree intentional homicide.

The Lodi girls varsity soccer team will host a fundraiser from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, May 2 at Susie’s Car Wash, 806 N. Main St., Lodi. Food and drinks will also be sold.
