The Lodi Police Blotter is comprised of information provided by the Lodi Police Department. Individuals named in the police blotter are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in court.

• Feb. 17 11:07 p.m. – Lodi Police stopped a vehicle on S. Main Street at Portage Street. Brandon A. Ruchti, 20, Waunakee, was cited for operating a vehicle without proof of insurance and verbally warned for failure to stop at a stop sign.

• Feb. 18 3:27 p.m. – Lodi Police stopped a vehicle on Church Street at Seminary Street. A female subject, 17, town of Lodi, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign.

• Feb. 18 3:50 p.m. – Report of criminal damage to property at a business on the 700 block of N. Main Street. The flood lights at the back entrance to the business were damaged, estimated value $10. The incident it believed to have occurred Feb. 17-18.

• Feb. 18 4:01 p.m. – Lodi Police responded to a report of juvenile misbehavior on the 300 block of Clark Street. A female subject, 13, city of Lodi, was making verbal threats to her mother. When police arrived the situation had calmed.

• Feb. 19 6:22 p.m. – Lodi Police stopped a vehicle on Portage Street at Davis Street. Heather L. Duvall, 27, Poynette, was cited for operating a vehicle without proof of insurance and issued a 10-day equipment repair violation for a defective headlight.

• Feb. 21 12:37 p.m. – Lodi Police responded to a report of illegal dumping on the 800 block of Meadowview Lane. A female subject was observed putting two garbage bags into a privately owned dumpster. Janelle M. Steward, 34, Madison, was cited for illegal dumping- solid waste material.

• Feb. 23 3:11 a.m. – Lodi Police stopped a vehicle on N. Main Street at Fair Street for defective registration lamps. Marc A. Rortvedt, 22, town of Lodi, was cited for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. He was transported to Divine Savior Hospital for a legal blood draw then transported to Columbia County Jail for confinement.

• Feb. 23 11:50 p.m. – Lodi Police stopped a vehicle on N. Main Street at Gay Street. Debra L. Reding, 53, village of Dane, was cited for operating a vehicle with a revoked driver’s license and issued a 10-day equipment repair violation for operating a vehicle without registration lamps.

• Feb. 24 1:18 a.m. – Lodi Police stopped a vehicle on the 700 block of N. Main Street. Danielle S. Schwartz, 28, Lake Geneva, was cited for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and issued a written warning for traffic lane deviation.

• Feb. 24 6:50 p.m. – Lodi Police stopped a vehicle on N. Main Street at Gay Street. Raymundo Arreola, 31, village of Dane, was cited for operating a vehicle with a revoked driver’s license.

• Feb. 25 2:45 p.m. – Report of found property. A set of keys was found near the Columbia County recycling dumpsters on Water Street at Canning Street and turned into Lodi Police. The owner can claim the keys at the Lodi Police Department.
