The City of Janesville is assisting the UW Madison Traffic Operations and Safety Laboratory (TOPS Lab) with a research project that they are conducting to study the integration of Autonomous Vehicles (AVs) into transit operations. As part of the project, the TOPS Lab has developed an online survey which is meant to gauge how well the Janesville Transit System (JTS) serves the community, the role that emerging technologies like automated driving could play, and how to better plan for the future.

Whether or not you ride public transit, you can help by completing a short survey about your experiences and your views of advanced vehicle technologies. Your participation is voluntary but it's greatly appreciated. Responding to this survey should take about 10 minutes.

The online survey will be available from May 30 through June 30.

If you have questions or wish to learn more about this research project, contact Madhav Chitturi, Ph.D., with the UW Madison TOPS Lab, at (608) 890-2439 or madhav.chitturi@wisc.edu.
