KANDU Industries, a nonprofit organization that provides employment and other opportunities to persons with disabilities or disadvantages, announces the appointment of Interim Executive Director Sue Conley. She is a member of the Janesville City Council. A former director of the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin, she has been serving nonprofit organizations in Rock County since 1984.
Conley has served on the boards of many organizations, including: Janesville League of Women Voters, Women’s Fund, Janesville Education Foundation, Janesville Multicultural Teachers Scholarship Fund, Janesville Community Alliance Network, Janesville Performing Arts Center, United Way of North Rock County, Leadership Development Academy, Zonta Club of Janesville, Theatre Unlimited, Bower City Theatre Company, St. Mary School, Friends of JATV, Janesville Crimestoppers, and the YWCA Rock County.
Brian Anderson, KANDU’s board president, stated “KANDU is pleased and excited that Ms. Conley has accepted the interim director position. Her dedication to serving others in the community serves as an example to us all, and we are looking forward to working with her.”
