2019 brought improvements to the Milton Area Youth Center (MAYC), Executive Director Venesa Draves said. In years past, the program and building felt as though “it needed a hug,” she said. This year, the community has renewed its support and embrace of the program. From donations, to support through daily meals, to windows that will soon be installed with aid from a city of Milton façade grant, Draves said: “I feel like we’ve been given a hug. It’s been a good year.”
