The Monona Community Festival, set for Wednesday, July 3, and Thursday, July 4, needs volunteers.

More than 50,000 people attend the Monona Community Festival, raising money to support Monona and surrounding community organizations, charities and scholarships. The event relies heavily on volunteer participation with more than 100 volunteers assisting throughout the festival.

There is an online registration form to make it easy to volunteer for select shifts and duties.

Shifts and duties include bartender, three-hour shifts July 3 and July4; food and drink ticket seller, shifts of two to three hours both days; grounds crew, two hours both day and a three-hour shift the morning of Friday, July 5; hole-in-one, shifts of three and four hours both days; keg toss, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. July 4; and wine bar, shifts of two and three hours both days.
