On to state

The Monona Grove High School dance team, a two-season varsity sport and MGHS’s spirit squad, is advancing to the state event Saturday, Feb. 1, at the La Crosse Center. At the Southern Wisconsin Regional Dance Team competition Saturday, Jan. 25, in Watertown, the team placed second in pom and jazz, having the highest regional showing in the program’s history. Senior captain Caitlyn Pahmeier took home first place in her solo category, earning her designation as all-state qualifier.
