The Sun Prairie Police Department (SPPD) has arrested two Sun Prairie males in connection with the vandalism of fire facilities at Angell Park as well as damage at Full Mile Brewing Co and Kitchen and at the Family Aquatic Center valued at more than $65,000.

The SPPD has been investigating two incidents of significant damage that occurred to training facilities belonging to the Sun Prairie Volunteer Fire Department located at 200 Park Street.

The first reported incident was reported on May 10, 2019 and a second incident was reported on May 15, 2019.

During both incidents, two individuals were observed on surveillance footage causing what was estimated at over $30,000 worth of damages to the facilities.

With assistance from the public, the SPPD identified two suspects: Samuel R. Keuler, a 21-year-old male from Sun Prairie and Riley P. Frentzel, a 21-year-old male from Sun Prairie.

Sun Prairie Police Detective Sgt. Ryan Cox said both Keuler and Frentzel were arrested on four counts of Felony – Criminal Damage to Property and three counts of Burglary to any Building or Dwelling.

The investigation also indicated that Keuler and Frentzel were involved in two separate previously reported incidents where significant damage was done to property in 2018.

The investigation uncovered that Keuler and Frentzel damaged park slides and buildings at the Sun Prairie Aquatic Center, located at 920 Linnerud Drive in September, 2018. The damage was estimated at more than $15,000.

Cox said the investigation also uncovered Keuler and Frentzel were responsible for significant damage done to the construction site for Full Mile Brewing Company located at 132 Market St in the fall of 2018.

The damage consisted of broken piping and walls within the business.

That damage was estimated at $50,000.
