Relay For Life of Rock River will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 20 in the Brandenstein Room at the Watertown Senior Center.
The guest speaker will be Dr. Ann DeLaForest. She is a cancer researcher of gastric cancer.
The Relay For Life of Rock River includes all the relays from Jefferson County, including the Waterloo teams.
The American Cancer Society is the nation’s largest non-government, not-for-profit cancer research funder.
The Relay For Life Golf Outing will be held Saturday, July 13 at the Lake Mills Golf Course. Registration starts at 8:15 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
The event is in need of four four-person teams and sponsors. Early bird registration ends June 14.
At the end of play, lunch will be served and awards will be handed out.

Luminarias honor every life touched by cancer. You can dedicate them to a loved one lost, someone currently battling, or anyone who’s overcome it. The Luminaria Ceremony will be at 9 p.m. Aug 2 during the cancer relay. Luminarias can be purchased on our Relay For Life website, any team member or at Watertown Ace Hardware who is the luminaria sponsor.
Walkers are needed for the Aug. 2 relay at Watertown High School.
