When you go to the polls this November, I urge everyone to vote for the candidates that understand climate change is real, is caused by greenhouse gases, and needs our undivided attention. This is not a partisan issue.

Climate change is affecting us all and it can no longer be ignored. Our agribusiness, seaports and coastal cities, and loss of infrastructure due to flooding are all at risk. Migration conflicts will arise as people move away from increasingly hostile environments. This is just a short list of the economic losses inaction will bring.

Confronting climate change requires action on a grand scale and that is why electing the right candidates to office is so important. Vote for candidates who will see dealing with climate change as a top priority.
