The Wisconsin Holstein Association has named Cassandra and Elizabeth Endres 2013 Wisconsin Holstein Association Scholarship recipients. Cassandra, 19, and Elizabeth, 17, are the daughters of Steve and Kathy Endres of Waunakee.

Cassandra is involved in the University of Wisconsin-Madison Dairy Judging Team, Badger Dairy Club, Association of Women in Agriculture, Collegiate Farm Bureau and the Wisconsin Holstein Association. She currently attends UW-Madison majoring in dairy science and life sciences communications with plans to continue working in the dairy industry.

Elizabeth is a senior at Waunakee High School where she is involved in Wisconsin Junior Holsteins, Waunakee Whirlwinds 4-H, Waunakee FFA, National Honor Society and is a member of the track and field team. She plans to attend veterinary school to become a large animal veterinary with specialization in advanced reproductive technologies.

Cassandra and Elizabeth are among 13 Wisconsin Holstein Association scholarship recipients this year.

The Wisconsin Holstein Association is a nonprofit membership organization with the purpose of promoting the Wisconsin Holstein Registered Breed, breeders and owners.
