The Cambridge School District is seeking nominations for the 2023 Blue Jay Hall of Honor awards.
The school district, school board, Hall of Honor and Athletic Hall of Fame Committees dedicated the “Cambridge Blue Jays Hall of Honor” in December of 2009, designed to recognize those who have honored the district and community with significant academic, athletic and community service achievement.
This is the fourteenth year, in which candidates will be selected for induction into the Blue Jay Hall of Honor. The district’s Hall of Honor Advisory Committee seeks nominations for the Community Member of the Year and the Distinguished Alumni Award, and the Hall of Fame Committee likewise seeks nominations for potential candidates to be inducted into the Blue Jay Athletic Hall of Fame.
Nominations forms for all categories are available at the Cambridge School District Office or online at http://www.cambridge.k12.wi.us/blue-jay-hall-of-honor (under documents/Hall of Honor). Criteria for all nomination categories are included on the forms.
The deadline for submissions is March 15. Nominations may be submitted to the Cambridge District Office, Attn: Hall of Honor Selection Committee, 403 Blue Jay Way, Cambridge, WI 53523 or emailed to mraether@cambridge.k12.wi.us .
A recognition banquet to honor all the new members of the “Cambridge Blue Jays Hall of Honor” will be held at Lake Ripley Country Club in the fall following the nomination/selection process.
