The Clay Collective’s Spring Pottery Tour takes place April 30 and May 1 in south central Wisconsin.

The tour will host 18 guest artists this year at the studios on the tour and several studios will have demonstrations. This is the Clay Collective’s fifth annual spring tour, held the first weekend of May.

There are seven studios in the area on the tour which include Bruce Johnson Clay Studio in Lake Mills; Johnson Creek Clay Studio and Bur Oak Pottery in Johnson Creek; Broadwing Clay Studio, Rock Eagle Pottery, Glen Cutcher, and Cambridge Wood-fired Pottery in the Cambridge area.

The tour begins at 10 a.m. through 5p.m. both days. Yard signs will be posted with a large blue pot against a red background for easy spotting. The Clay Collective is a group of nine potters in south central Wisconsin with a wide range of styles and traditions in the clay arts. This year’s tour will feature the largest collection of work on the tour to date, and is a great opportunity to meet the artists, watch them at work and find unique pieces in the clay medium offered by more than two dozen artists.
