The DeForest Area Public Library staff is thankful for all who contributed to the library’s endowment fund during the recent $50,000 2:1 challenge grant from the Madison Community Foundation. The library is very happy to announce a total of $60,000 was raised for the endowment and will be matched with $30,000 from the Madison Community Foundation.
The DeForest library’s endowment fund is a long-term investment in the future of the library and community. The interest generated from the endowment fund will help expand future library’s services by helping to fund programs and events, and/or purchase new and ever-changing technologies for the library and the community.
Even though the challenge grant has ended, endowment donations can continue to be made to the endowment fund at any time.
Endowment information is available on the library’s website, www.deforestlibrary.org. and online donations may also be made there.
