35th anniversary celebration

The DeForest Area Community and Senior Center celebrated its 35th anniversary the week of Aug. 26-30. On Wednesday, Aug. 28, the facility held an open house, as staff shared what’s involved in their work and detailed how it improves the community. Visitors were able to tour the facility and were treated to a dance recital by local kids, as well as refreshments. Below left: A big crowd claps Friday for Elvis Presley impersonator Tony Rocker.
