One to five cars at a time arrived between about 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to pick up meals. Though people were not designated a specific timeslot, they arrived at staggered times, as if they were.
Lunch was provided by Knute’s of Orfordville and sponsored by the generosity of Dave and Nancy Lader. The meal included roast beef, mashed potatoes, California blend vegetables, roll, butter and a brownie for dessert.
Flags outside The Gathering Place on Veterans Day were on loan from Vets Roll.
