State van riders wanted

Reduce your carbon footprint, and save money on parking and gas when commuting to and from Madison by joining State Van 1163. The van leaves Lake Mills at 6:35 a.m. and returns around 5:35 p.m. There are stops on the UW campus and hospital areas. Contact Alissa at alissa.ewer@wisc.edu for details.

Middle School Band and Orchestra concert May 2

Lake Mills Area School District presents the Middle School Band and Orchestra concerts Thursday, May 2 at the Lake Mills High School Auditorium. The 5th grade will perform at 5:30 p.m. 6th grade at 6:15 p.m. and 7th & 8th grade at 7:30 p.m.

Pints & Politics to meet May 2

American Majority Executive Director Matt Batzel will speak at the next Jefferson County GOP Pints & Politics event on May 2 at 6 p.m. at Hi-Way Harry’s, Johnson Creek. Lake Mills United Methodist Church will be selling morning buns, donuts, baked goods, and lunch (chicken salad croissant, Philly cheese steak, sloppy joe, or peanut butter and jelly) Friday, May 3 and Saturday, May 4 from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. during the city wide rummage sale. Spring Pottery tour May 4 and 5

Lake Mills potters Bruce Johnson and Ed and Laura Klein will open their studios for the Clay Collective’s 8th Annual Spring Pottery Tour May 4 and 5.
