LMHS Interact Club holds fundraiser

Lake Mills High School Interact Club students spent the first two weeks of March organizing and running a fundraiser for Heifer International, their chosen project of the year, that pitted Advisory classes against each other to raise the most money. As an incentive, the advisory who donated the most money won a pizza party. The funds raised for Heifer International send livestock to needy communities across the world. Even though students were not able to reach their goal due to the fundraiser being cut short, they raised enough money to buy a goat and three flocks of chicks. These animals will help alleviate hunger and poverty in a small community in need and the impact will last for generations.
