Campaigning during COVID-19

Getting signatures on Nomination Papers is hard enough, but getting them while trying to keep everyone safe is downright challenging. Ken Van Dyke, candidate for State Senate District 14, is shown here with one of his solutions. People are invited to come outside while Ken sets up his truck and puts his mask on. Distancing is observed while the signers use sanitized pens to sign papers on the back of the truck, and are then offered hand sanitizer afterward. Ken has gotten signatures throughout District 14, which stretches from parts of Shawano and Waupaca County in the north down, to parts of Columbia and Dane County in the south. District 14 services the Lodi and Poynette areas. Van Dyke has to turn in at least 400 signatures to get on the ballot.
