Getting their hands dirty

Kids First Preschool and Child Care follows the expression, “It takes a village” as they take kids out in the community for spring events. On April 11 they visited with the Poynette Area Gardening Association in association with the Columbia County Master Gardeners, as the fledgling botanists learned how to plant seeds and tend to a microgarden. On April 17 they listened to a concert from the Poynette High School Band and then got a chance to have hands-on experience with some of the instruments. Between April 17 and 21 the kids took to the Poynette Area Public Library for a number of events.
