Blare Wood is McFarland High School's September Senior of the Month

As a Freshman, Wood was on the honor roll and he plans to attend a UW system school to pursue a degree in business.

Wood was nominated to be the Senior of the Month by school counselor Beth Canfield.

“Blare has been a leader in and out of school, in particular, he is a dedicated member of the Hope Squad, our peer to peer suicide prevention group,” Canfield said in a press release. “Blare cares about his classmates and goes above and beyond to make a difference. Blare is genuine, kind and caring. We are very proud of him.”
