The McFarland 5th-6th grade math meet team won first place in the Mega Math Meet hosted by the UW-Madison Mathematics Department on May 23.

Twenty teams from southern Wisconsin participated in the meet. Students completed four individual events and worked together on the team event. The McFarland team took first in the middle size schools division.
