The McFarland boys basketball team continues to roll through the Rock Valley Conference, winning 77-47 over Brodhead on Friday, Jan. 20 at McFarland High School.
Two McFarland seniors recorded a double-double in the win. Dadon Gillen grabbed 19 rebounds, while adding 16 points. Aidan Chislom recorded 18 points and 13 rebounds.
Senior Kyle Kussow added eight points, sophomore Ben Forbes contributed four points and junior Kaden Meinholdt scored three points. Juniors Braylan Roder and Andrew Kelley each scored two points.
McFarland remains undefeated in conference play with a record of 10-0. The Spartans hold a two-game lead over Beloit Turner for first place.
McFarland 81, East Troy 32
The Spartans had no problems getting past East Troy as 10 players scored in the 81-32 victory at McFarland High School on Tuesday, Jan. 17.
Senior Aidan Chislom recorded a double-double with 10 points scored and 12 rebounds collected. Senior Dadon Gillen nearly completed a double-double, scoring 20 points on 8-12 shooting and grabbing nine rebounds.
Senior Kyle Kussow recorded 10 points, five rebounds and four steals. Junior Kaden Meinholdt made three 3’s to finish with nine points. Senior Deven Kulp had eight points, while recording five rebounds and five assists.
Junior Braylan Roder scored seven points and collected eight rebounds. Junior Andrew Kelley also recorded seven points.
Sophomore Ben Forbes added six points and five rebounds. Sophomore Brady Ochalla and senior Evan Dean each contributed two points.
