As COVID-19 and the necessary precautions needed to contain it spread, everyday life changes rapidly. At Milton's only grocery store, Cowley's Piggly Wiggly, the Cowley family and their staff continue to supply the community with food and essentials. Supplies from the warehouse coming into the store have been steady, Angie Cowley said on Friday. Things in short supply will be limited so everyone can get what they need. Some items are moving more quickly than others, meat, eggs, bread, cold remedies and toilet paper among them, she said. On Friday, as she walked through the aisles, shelves were mostly stocked, and signage throughout the store gave customers instructions about limits on certain items.
