Kuffer's Pumpkins, a 28-acre farm on W. Miles Road specializing in holiday decor such as pumpkins, gourds, squash and broom corn, was in full swing Friday, Sept. 25, as a steady stream of customers visited the self-serve area. John and Pam Kuffer said they began the pumpkin-selling business as a way to earn college money for their children, but the enterprise has since grown into a seasonal operation that complements their mowing business. The Kuffers sell their holiday produce at area farmers markets and will operate the self-serve area on their farm daily, from sunup to sundown, John said, until the end of October.

Pictures of the farm, products and fields follow.
