Timeline Room traces Milton College history

Milton College Preservation Society Board President and Main Hall Museum curator Doug Welch takes a break in the museum's Timeline Room.

The Timeline Room, the museum's most recent project, was completed last December. The room was officially unveiling in March.

The museum and the Timeline Room are available for exploration, Tuesdays through Fridays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visitors are asked to "observe normal mask and social distancing recommendations," Welch said. For more information, call: 608-868-2354. Main Hall Museum is located at 513 College Street.

Welch, who has served as preservation society board president since 2014, said after serving for six years as the assistant director at the Milton House Museum, he stepped into his new role as Main Hall curator in January.
