Three seniors critical to the success of the Monona Grove football program have been recognized for their contributions on the field.
Senior wide receiver Ty Hoier was selected as a part of the All-Region team in the state of Wisconsin, along with being selected by the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association as an honorable mention for the All-State team. Hoier finishes his three-year career on varsity with 71 receptions, 898 receiving yards, nine receiving touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns.
Senior defensive back Tyler Dahlhauser was also selected as a member of the All-Region team, and as an honorable mention on the All-State team. Dahlhauser accumulated 197 total tackles, 173 solo tackles, four forced fumbles, six sacks and two interceptions in three years on varsity.
Senior defensive back Grant Dahlhauser was selected as a member of the All-Region team. Returning from injury for the 2021 season, Dahlhauser finished with the second-most tackles on the Silver Eagles with 71 total tackles. Dahlhauser wrapped up 107 total tackles, 78 solo tackles, forced a fumble and picked off two passes in three years on varsity.
