In its 57-year history, the Lakeside Lutheran High School boys basketball program has never had a 1,000-point scorer.

That streak ended this year as senior wing Mason DeNoyer became the first Warrior boy to break the 1,000-point threshold, a feat he accomplished Jan. 12 against Lake Mills.

The Lake Mills High School boys basketball team had one of the most historic seasons in program history in 2015-2016.

The L-Cats piled up a school record 22 wins and captured the program’s first conference title since the 1985-1986 season.

Lake Mills was honored for its season by the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association as both senior forward Simon Lensmire and head coach Steve Hicklin have been selected to participate in the WBCA’s All-Star game June 18 at JustAgame Fieldhouse in Wisconsin Dells. Both will be on the Division 3 South team roster.
