Lutheran Counseling and Family Services of Wisconsin (LCFS) is pleased to announce that Jean Berghammer, MSW, LCSW has joined our staff to provide mental health counseling services at two of LCFS’s satellite offices: Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 2940 Mineral Point Avenue in Janesville, WI and Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 300 Broadway Drive in Sun Prairie, WI. You do not need to be members of these churches for services.

Berghammer is a Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience in depression, grief, anxiety, anger and stress management therapy, trauma recovery and more. She services all ages, utilizing play therapy with her younger clients and cognitive-behavioral therapy with her adolescent and adult clients. She also integrates family therapy and couple counseling into her practice. Her love for the brain — and her love for healthy relationships — are key motivators in all that she does. Jean also teaches as a lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Madison for the Human Development and Family Studies Department.

The organizations accept most insurances and offer a generous sliding fee scale for those who are uninsured or facing financial challenges. Call (715) 524-4840 or (toll free) 888-867-4840 to learn more or schedule an appointment. Or find us online at
