ARRIVING IN STYLE
Waterloo Elementary School student Alayna Neumaier was the runner-up in the annual Fired Up Reading Challenge hosted by the Karl Junginger Memorial Library. As part of her reward for reading 18 hours during the month of October, Neumaier received a fire truck ride to school on Nov. 12.This year’s winner — and first non-Waterloo participant — was Beth Roche of Columbus who attends St. Jerome Catholic School in Columbus. Roche read more than 60 hours in October. The Columbus Fire Department gave her a ride to school on Monday.
