The future of elementary education in Waunakee got off to a rocky start on Thursday, May 18—although that was intentional.

The Waunakee Community School District broke ground at the site of the future Heritage Elementary School, planned to be a 152,000-square-foot, “state-of-the-art school building” located at 6271 Woodland Drive in Waunakee.
